The Game Over Podcast

Every week me and my friends get together to record ourselves talk about games.

But there’s something we’ve never told you about. Ya see, every once in a while we’ll record an hour long episode, start packing up our gear in celebration, and as we listen back to the show that we’d just worked so hard on…the audio is nothing but useless static. This first happened a few months ago, and it seems to be happening more and more frequently. Imagine spending an entire hour discussing a long list of topics and stating your opinions enthusiastically, and then finding out that you pretty much have to do it all over again and pretend that you didn’t just say/hear all of it before.

While having to re-record the show isn’t all that new to us…this week GarageBand decided to do everything in it’s power to stop us from recording anything! On Tuesday Zack, Dylan, and I pumped out a full hour and a half episode only to find the audio completely illegible past the 4 minute mark. Then on Wednesday Zack and I actually re-recorded two times! Both complete failures!!

At that point I was so discouraged and felt like just quitting. But it occurred to me you guys had sent in so much listener mail that we could just do a whole episode of answering your questions and avoid pretending to be excited about the same news/new releases/recommendations for a 4th time. So, this episode quite literally couldn’t have been done without you guys. Thanks a bunch. I hope you enjoy!
